Frequently Asked Questions
Is everything made to order?
Absolutely! We treat every order as an individual project. We’re not in the business of building a thousand units of the same thing. We build each piece in our small workshop in Woodstock, GA. The lettering and artistic elements are cut by hand on a scroll saw. Each frame is designed, cut, milled and finished in the same shop. The initial design is created on a computer, but we do not use CNC routers or laser cutting tools. We love the craftsmanship results of a wood product created by hand.
Can I make changes to the designs shown on your site?
We love custom changes. We list the prices for some typical changes like additional lettering. But we are happy to do our best to accommodate any special design request. It may affect the price, of course, but we’ll let you know in advance if that’s the case.
How big is your workshop?
We’re a daughter/father team working in a small 350 square foot shop. We have all the usual tools and suppliers. But we’re not trying to get bigger. We love being small. Our focus is on crafting custom items that bring joy into someone’s life. Whether it’s a sign or another wood product, we put our love of woodworking into it.
How long have you been woodworking?
Dad grew up in his father’s woodworking shop and has spent is life creating custom wood furnishings for family and friends along with the occasional commissioned piece. Em grew up in his shop and has been honing her skills on the scroll saw for several years. We formed Twenty-Seven & Harvest in 2024.
